Where the exchange rates come from
Rates are pulled from a public exchange-rate service when you open the tool, covering major world currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, and more. If live rates are temporarily unavailable, the converter falls back to recent reference rates so it always works.
Mid-market vs. the rate you get
The rates shown here are indicative mid-market rates. Banks and money-transfer services usually add a margin or fee, so the rate you actually receive for a transfer or card payment may be slightly different. Always confirm the final rate before sending money.
